Da pacem Domine (Give peace, Lord) is a votive antiphon written for use in the Sacred Liturgy and became very popular, particularly among the Crusaders. This version was recorded at a live performance of a concert entitled The Music of the Crusades at St. Francis de Sales Church in St. Louis, Missouri, August 19, 2023.

Cantores Sancti Ludovici

The Cantores Sancti Ludovici is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It exists to fund a schola cantorum (school of singers) to chant the Divine Office and Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, as well as to study and promote the liberal arts and Catholic culture in St. Louis, MO and beyond, with a particular emphasis on medieval studies.

Da pacem Domine (Give peace, Lord) is a votive antiphon written for use in the Sacred Liturgy and became very popular, particularly among the Crusaders. The more common Gregorian melody, from the 9th century, is elaborated slightly from the more rustic melody used by the the Crusaders and sung by the Cantores Sancti Ludovici
